مهندسی ژنوم از آزمایشگاه تا بالین توسط CRISPR/Cas9

اکتشاف قیچی­های مولکولی به همراه توانایی آن­ها در ایجاد تغییرات هدفمند در نقاط مشخصی از ژنوم، به بررسی­های کارکردی ژن­ها، ژنوم و اپی­ژنوم منجر شده است. این فنون با افزایش فهم پژوهشگران در رابطه با اساس مولکولی بیماری­ها و تسهیل درمان­های نوین ژنتیکی کمک شایانی به علم ژنتیک پزشکی کرده است. سادگی سیستم CRISPR/Cas9، دستورزی راحت و قابلیت هدف­گیری چندگانه، CRISPR/Cas9 را به عنوان سیستم منتخب در بسیاری از پژوهش­ها تبدیل کرده است.از سوی دیگر با استفاده از سیستم CRISPR/Cas9 و ایجاد انواع الگوهای بیماری در حیوانات الگو، می­توان مطالعات گسترده­ای در رابطه با بیماری­هایی با اساس ژنتیکی انجام داد. انتظار می­رود که در آینده­ای نه چندان دور پژوهشگران به بهسازی این فناوری در ابعاد متفاوتی مانند دقت در هدف­گیری، انتقال و کنترل بر روی هدف­گیری به هنگام فرایندهای ترمیمی، مبادرت بورزند. در این مقاله­ی مروری تاریخچه، نوع سیستم­های CRISPR، جایگاه این فناوری در حوزه­ی ویرایش ژنوم و استفاده از آن در درمان­های نوین بیماری­ها اعم از ژنتیکی، سرطان و غیره، مورد بحث و بررسی قرار گرفته است.
